Anova's primary funding mechanism is the fee for service model utilized by the California Department of Education and the California Regional Center system. The Anova fund encapsulates our efforts to raise additional revenue as a California non-profit 501(c)(3) to assure that our ability to provide our valuable services is never compromised in times of economic uncertainty, and that high-quality services can be made available to underserved populations and those without the voice to ask for help.  This need exists now more than ever. Anova pursues corporate and federal grants to fund new programs and receives regular donations from community service groups and private donors. Donations are critical to Anova's success, enabling us to give our children the highest quality education possible and provide them with educational experiences typically cut first when budgets get tight. Dependent almost entirely on public education funds, donations to Anova allow the breathing room necessary to effectively plan for today...and for the future. They afford us the opportunity to turn one-time pilot projects into ongoing programs. We need support from our community to further bolster and expand our services.

For private donors Anova offers three extraordinarily simple year-round fundraising opportunities in which everyone can participate: eScrip, Box Tops for Education, and Target's Take Charge of Education. If you are not currently taking part in these programs, please consider signing up. There is no cost to you, and you raise money to help our services reach more families. Here's all you need to do:

Select Anova as the school you would like to support
Register your cards
(American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, ATM, Safeway and more!)
Once your cards are registered with eScrip, every time you use them at a participating eScrip store, Anova receives a percentage of your purchase - at no cost to you. 

Box Tops for Education
Cut proof of purchase box tops from General Mills products and send them to Anova.
OR
Log onto www.boxtops4education.com, and click into the Marketplace. There are over 70 stores in the Box Tops Marketplace, ranging from the Gap to PetSmart. If you are going to shop online, log first into the Box Tops Marketplace; Anova receives a percentage of any online purchases you make (you will be prompted to select Anova as the school you'd like to support.)

Target's Take Charge of Education
Thanks to a parent bringing this program to our attention, Anova is now enrolled in Target's Take Charge of Education. If you are a Target shopper, or have a Target Visa or Check Card:

These programs take only minutes to sign up, cost you nothing, and can raise tens of thousands of dollars to help our kids. Past donations have provided us with much-needed computers and occupational therapy equipment such as our therapeutic swing. They have given ACE School students the opportunity to go on field trips. They have allowed our kids to attend special camps where they focus on abilities such as dining skills, improving handwriting skills, and more. In-kind or cash, big or small, never underestimate the power of your donation.
