ACE of Clubs Golf Tournament
Anova's 1st Annual ACE of Clubs Golf Tournament, held Friday, October 21, 2011 at StoneTree Golf Course in Novato, was a huge success!
We raised $35,000, which will be used to bolster Anova and ACE Schools’ Physical Education and Athletic Enrichment Fund.
Ninety golfers enjoyed a gorgeous, sunny day at one of California’s most beautiful courses. With a score of 58, winning team members Jason Balatti, Paul Balatti (who also took home the honors for the closest to the pin contest), Mike Langhals, and Hayden Siniscalco were awarded gift certificates to the StoneTree Pro Shop. Anova’s own Chris Collins won the longest drive contest.
Unfortunately, our golfers did not make the coveted hole-in-one shot, so no one drove home in the beautiful 2011 GMC Terrain from Silveira Auto Group. Better luck next time!
The golfers were clearly captivated by the silent auction items - sports memorabilia from baseball, football, and basketball legends - which were quickly snatched up by our big-hearted players.
Event co-chairs Jock McNeill and Bob Raynard, along with Anova Founders Andrew Bailey, William Henkel, and Mary Beth Ludwig would like to send a special thank you to our Tournament Champion Sponsor, First Republic Bank, for their support on and off the course. Golfers will certainly enjoy the tote bags, caps, tees, sunscreen, and Zagat Guides that First Republic Bank so graciously donated for the event goodie bags.
