Kristi Allison’s current position with Anova is an occupational therapist at the Contra Costa campus. Kristi graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Dominican University in 2010. She also completed internships in the areas of pediatrics, mental health, and physical disabilities. After graduating, Kristi worked as a school-based therapist and in a sensory integration clinic and have worked with children with a range of challenges/disabilities from ages preschool to high school. Her continuing education includes DIR/Floortime Model, Sensory Integration and Sensory Processing Disorders, Alert Program, Zones of Regulation, and Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. After several years of support from a well-respected mentor in occupational therapy, she is eager to help Anova to develop their Occupational Therapy program at the Contra Costa campus. Outside of school, Kristi enjoys spending time with her husband, a one-year old son, and a hyper-active Boston terrier named Ernie.
