Family Sensory Day 2018

Sensory Day Flyer

Anova is proud to partner with the Schulz museum on their Sensory Friendly Day

Our Anova founder, Andrew Bailey and Anova Occupational therapists have provided ongoing training and support to the Schulz team to help them develop this great afternoon of fun for children of the North Bay with sensory differences.

Explore the Schulz Museum at your own pace. Watch an animated Peanuts Special with the lights up, engage in sensory activities, and experiment with stop-motion movie-making! Sensory Kits and noise-cancelling headphones will be available during this event.

Also Visit the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County’s Free Sensory Friendly Afternoon from 2:00-4:00pm on the same day!

Help ACE Sonoma Rise from the Ashes

We are heartbroken to announce that our Santa Rosa campus, ACE Sonoma, has been completely destroyed by the wildfires that ravaged Northern California. Please help us rebuild our beloved school and donate to our Go Fund Me Phoenix Campaign. We will rise from the ashes. All donations are appreciated and thank you for your support. #AnovaStrong #PhoenixCampaign

Barnes and Noble Book Fair

On April 28th, Alicia and Ava Clark will be at the Barnes and Noble in Antioch signing copies of their books. Bring in the flyer (click flyer for downloadable version), so that Anova receives a portion of the days sales. If you are purchasing books or materials online use the code 12360814 at checkout.

Alicia Coleman-Clark and Ava J. Clark reside in the Bay Area. Alicia is a Certified Special Education Advocate and holds an International Certification in Mediation and Conflict Resolution as well as a Communication Certification.

Alicia began her journey as an advocate working with school districts as a way to stay in communication and keep informed of new changes and improvements in the Special Education Departments. Alicia’s continued dedication to bring additional information, services and resources to parents and families of children with special needs with an understanding and grace is appreciated and valued among numerous communities. Her efforts create a ripple effect which continues to change the lives of both children and adults each year. Alicia’s philosophy for a life well lived is to be present in every relationship, live with compassion and practice humility.

ACE Sonoma Update

Anova phoenix campaign

After losing our Santa Rosa campus in the Tubbs fire, we are happy to announce that our 125 students will be temporarily divided and served in three different Sonoma County locations.

Anova wishes to thank the Bennett Valley School District and the City of Healdsburg for generously offering classroom space to lease for our students. Along with Anova’s Santa Rosa offices, these spaces will serve as Anova’s home for the next few months.

We are eternally grateful to our community for the support Anova has received in this endeavor. We are glad to be back to the ‘new normal’ and serving the children of the north bay at our three new locations.
