Teresa Talbott

speech and language pathologist

Teresa is a licensed American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist.   She has worked as the speech therapist for over ten years in a multitude of educational settings from kindergarten through transition programs age 22. She has enjoyed helping a very diverse population of students with multiple and unique sets of strengths and challenges.   Working at Anova since 2017, Teresa has spent considerable time investigating fluency and the influence of subclinical language skills as well as multiple diagnoses influences on effective communication and treatment strategies.   She has presented at the Oxford International Fluency Conference and will be presenting at the ASHA national convention as well as the Joint World Congress on Fluency.  

Teresa loves being creative and meeting students where they are in their skill levels and particular interests.   She has incorporated her love for theatre and technology with a green screen studio so that she can offer all kinds of engaging language activities from kindness commercials to public service announcements.  Additionally, she holds an administrative credential and has served as Director of Special Education and Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Program Manager.  With this background, Teresa ensures that her students receive the best care and services.
