Why Work At Anova?
Who we are: Anova is Northern California’s most trusted provider of educational, behavioral and therapy services for children and adults with disabilities. By teaching the essential life skills for independence and creating the confidence required for success in school, home and work, Anova has changed the lives of hundreds of families since our inception in 2000. Based in Santa Rosa, CA, and providing services in 15 counties across the state, Anova is comprised of a first-class team of teachers, behavior analysts and therapists.
While our expertise in working with children with learning disabilities is wide in scope, Anova has specialized in developing new programs and services to meet the needs of those with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Since our inception in 2000, cases of autism have increased 225% in Sonoma County, a statistic that is mirrored nationwide. With one out of every 150 children born today diagnosed with autism, and a new child diagnosed every 20 minutes, there is no doubt as to where Anova needs to concentrate our efforts to best serve our community.
What we do: Since our inception, Anova has provided behavior analysis assessments, consultation and paraprofessional support services to public schools. As we worked with more and more children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, we soon recognized that a portion of this population had needs that could not be met within the confines of the public school system. In 2003, we opened the Anova Center for Education, or ACE School, in Sonoma County. ACE is a one- of-a-kind non-public school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Today we operate two additional ACE Schools, one in the county of Napa and the other in Marin. We also offer Occupational Therapy Assessment, Speech and
Language Assessment and Therapy Services, Social Cognition Groups, Early Intervention Services, and more.
How we do it: Anova has achieved its success by hiring and retaining the best and brightest professionals in the field. We seek those who thrive on distinction, can create and utilize state-of-the-art techniques, will work on pioneering methodologies, can see opportunities in challenges, and can handle the responsibility of changing lives for the better.
Our Philosophy: We believe that actions speak louder than words. At Anova we walk the talk. We are helping to create a world of strong communities where every family is supported and all children achieve their full potential...and we know it begins with you.
You’ll work in a culture where excellence is a given. You’ll be given the tools and support to succeed. You’ll work with a close-knit, fun and dedicated team of “best in class” experts, and you’ll achieve more than you ever dreamed possible.
Work Style: Work hard…Play hard...Have fun!
Enjoy work more than you ever thought possible…and be rewarded for your effort.
All this and you get to live in beautiful Northern California! Anova works in the heart of the wine coun-
try, surrounded by redwoods, minutes from the ocean, and just across the Golden Gate Bridge from
San Francisco.
