ace sONOMA CAMPUS

Home of the Phoenix.

Located in Santa Rosa, our K-12 ACE schools incorporates a comprehensive and simultaneous application of essential treatment modalities in our signature "Anova Method of Education" (AME).

Anova is dedicated to providing the highest quality education. We have an incredible staff of teachers and clinicians - many of whom have been with Anova since the beginning. These dedicated, talented individuals keep our students engaged and encouraged through the exceptional academic curriculum is based on the California Department of Education Curriculum Frameworks and optimized to meet the specific needs of each individual student. Curriculum includes: Reading/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, History/Social Science, Health, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Education, and Transition Planning.

In 2017, most of our Santa Rosa campus burned to the ground in the Tubbs Fire…leaving our students without a home. We adapted the Phoenix mascot because as this mythical bird rises from the ashes so have we. Ever since the Tubbs Fire, we have been forced to conduct classes and therapy sessions out of portables in the parking lot of our old building. While this setting hasn’t stopped us from achieving success, it was always meant to be temporary. It’s been 5 years since the devastating Tubbs Fire and we are rebuilding the school that our students and community deserve and so urgently need. A message from the ACE School Director

Dear Parents,

I wanted to share some updates and important reminders that will help ensure a smooth transition for both our students and staff.

Firstly, I have some bittersweet news to share. Mr. Sergio, Mr. Lawrence, and Ms. MegO, who have been integral parts of our school community for many years, will be moving on to pursue new opportunities. We are immensely grateful for their contributions and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

On a positive note, we are thrilled to announce that Mr. Angel will be staying on as a teacher in Room 6 and we have hired two exceptional individuals, Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Whitney, who will be joining our team this year. Mr. Jeremy will be teaching in Room 10 and Ms. Whitney is our new Occupational Therapist. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Whitney as they join our Anova family.

In addition, I wanted to inform you that Ms. Cassie, Ms. Alaina, and Ms. Alex will be on leave for the first part of the semester. Our Social and Behavior team will step in to ensure a seamless continuation of services. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during their absence.

As we prepare for the new school year, I would like to request your support with a school supplies donation drive. We will be providing a detailed list of needed supplies during the first week back to school. Thank you in advance for your support.

To ensure the safety and security of our students, we kindly remind you to sign them in at the office if they arrive late. This process allows us to keep track of their attendance and ensures their well-being on campus.

Additionally, please remember to notify the school if your child will be absent due to illness, appointments, or any other reason. Regular communication about absences helps us maintain accurate records and ensure the safety of all our students.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child's education. I am truly excited about the upcoming school year and the positive impact we will make together. Please feel free to reach out to me or any member of our administrative or front office team if you have any questions or concerns.

Wishing you a restful remainder of the summer break!

Warm regards,

Heidi Adler
